Principal:- The College is headed by Dr.P.V. Mathew, B.Tech. Ed., MBA., Ph.D.,. He has specialized in Management Studies and was awarded Ph.D from the School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology in 1983. He was also conferred Overseas Fellowship from Economic Development Institute of the World Bank, Washington in 1984. He has over 30 years experience in Academics and Industry. He has worked with reputed Institutions such as School of Management Studies under Cochin University of Science & Technology, Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management, Pune and Power Management Institute of NTPC, New Delhi. |

Additional Principal:- Dr.Lalitha Ramamurthi . obtained her Doctorate Degree from the University of Madras in 1986. She has about 30 years of teaching and research experience as Assistant Professor in Pondicherry and as Reader in All Saints’ College, Trivandrum. She is the Recipient of the Best Teacher Award in the State and Dr.Mathias Award for the Most Innovative College Teacher. She has national and international publications to her credit. Her books include A History of English Language, Macmillan, Madras, Joseph Conrad – An Anthology of Recent Criticism, Pencraft International, New Delhi and An Introduction to Literary Theory, University of Madras. She has participated in international conferences in Germany, Poland, Malaysia, Hungary, Jerusalem, Canada, Taiwan and Thailand. |

1.National Seminar-6thFeb 2008 - The Department of Biochemistry organised a One-day National Seminar on "Recent Trends & Challenges in BioSciences on 06.02.2008.More than 130 students from 17 different colleges have participated, around 40 papers were presented. |

We undertake hotel trips and Industrial visits also for the students to impart the practical aspects of the industry.We have conducted 12 Food Festivals in our department. |

History of the Department: With the IT corridors awning open to suck in young talents and with the liberalization policy of Government of India, the software definitely had to find its place in a well established institution like ours. The college chose to offer the latest in technical knowledge, and to this end, enrolled students for a degree in Computer Science. The Department has done exceedingly well since its inception and the placement cell bears testimony to the same. |
